Micro Fiction
Articles and Resources
If you Google the term Micro Fiction one of the surprising things you'll find is how many links there are to web pages connected to college courses on creative writing. Most of the information presented on those pages are specific to the courses themselves and aren't very useful to us. Still it gives us some idea of the growth in popularity of the ultra-short form.
The articles and resources I've linked to on this page are varied; some are a bit dated. Many of them deal with defining Flash Fiction and are very helpful. Hypertext Fiction links are also included to give you an idea of how widespread this form is, and it's usefulness in showcasing the Micro form. A comprehensive listing of e-zines that feature Micro Fiction can be found on the The World of Micro Fiction page.
I'm always on the lookout for good links, so if you feel you have one that should be included here please e-mail me via the address at the bottom of the page.
